The snow is melting, and the corn fields are full of water. Spring has arrived.

Interesting Tree on the Edge of the Woods
This tree is on the opposite side of the field across from out house. I like the way that it stands out from all the other trees.

Tilt-Shift Simulation of a Bridge in Rome, Italy.
I've been playing with some Tilt-Shift Photography simulations in Photoshop. Andrew Broekhuijsenfirst showed them to me. I thought they were actual photographs of minitures. They are incredible. If you have a chance go over and take a look.
After a few attempts, I came up with this one from our trip to Rome.
These are a lot of fun.

Bench of the Week #8, Sage Chapel Cornell University
This bench is outside of Sage Chapel at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. It's a great place to sit and relax and meditate. I find it very peaceful.
I hope you enjoy.

Evening of Music
We went to some friends house for a party in their Pub. He has lots of musical equipment, and some very talented friends.
We had an evening of great food, wonderful music, and a little wine. It's great to see them all again.
The pub has very dark red walls, and the lighting is very subdued. It's difficult to take photos without a flash. I used my f1.8 lens, and this seemed to work for this photo. I thought it lended itself well to Monochrome. I hope you like it.

We like to call this one, "The 6th Beatle".
